I'm an active high school student and have had a high fever for the past 2 days what's my problem?

I have recently experience severe bouts of coughing, resulting in excessive amounts of thick yellow mucous. Additional symptoms include fatigue and chills. A test revealed a crackling sound when breathing. What is wrong with me?
