I have an excruciatingly painful headache.... What do you suggest I do?

So I always get really bad headaches. Migraines. They run in the family. I don't always take pain relievers because... Well... I dunno why. I just don't really like taking them. Does anybody have any advice on what I should do to get rid of it?
