If my sempron 3000+ was a dual core ( sempron x2) then could it be compared to a core 2 duo e6600?

if there was a sempron x2 lets compare it to a core 2 duo e6600 at video encoding hardocore gaming and then if the core 2 duo got an overall score of 2000 then what would the sempron x2 score, i reckon somewhere near 1000 if the core 2 duo got 2000 what do you guys think if there was a sempron 3000+ x2
