How do I make the most of my dual aspect living room?

If you frame your window with curtains (hanging at the side of the windows on the wall, not on the window) this should draw the outside in, or indoor shutters fixed on the wall, either one will frame the window and draw the eyes to it, just make sure the coverings are a different colour than the wall Personally I always feel that a dark floor resonates better than a light one, it gives the room a grounded feeling. Your walls could be whatever colour suits you but I would choose a warm white (cream) other than white. Again, I think the wall colour looks better with some body to it - mine are taupe (tea with milk) and I would not choose anything else now. Anyway, good luck
