Travel cheap to ireland & italy from germany?

so i was curious if anyone has any ideas on how to get to ireland-italy from germany as cheaply as possible? i know of ryanair is hella cheap airfare. but what about like hotels-hostels??? im planning on a trip to go to both place ( perhaps not in the same week) in june... whats the best way to get there and spend a couple nights there?
