What is rev hale disgusted with at the end of act three of the crucible?

He is disgusted with Danforth's order for Proctor's arrest - an arrest order which is soley based on the accusations of a hysterical group of girls. Hale verbally protests but Danforth ignores him. In disgust, he denounces and quits the court.
