A Whole New Look Ideas?

Usually I wear my hair down and I'm getting bored of it - plus I don't think the repetition is doing anything for my social life. It may seem weird or stupid but I want this year to be special and impress people - after all who doesn't when they turn 16? So I wanted to try out new ideas for hair and make-up - nothing that will take too much time as I would like to do it before I go to school. I have red hair that is cut about 2-3 inches below my shoulders with a side fringe, really blue eyes (not bright blue more of an ocean-y colour) and pale skin. Havn't had any "serious" boyfriends in the last 5 years so would like to be noticed. I'm the type of person that people know but not one of the really popular girls that the boys usually go for (btw does this annoy any one else because sometimes it's like they won't give the other girls a chance - no offence intended to the really popular girls or the boys that go for them). Anyway - any one who knows any good websites or any hairstyles/make-up I can try your ideas would be appreciated so much!!!!
