Will he call me after what i've done?

4 months into the relationship, and I told him I was doubtful of the feelings he professed to me because he has forgotten things he has said (while under the influence) so I just got used to ignoring certain things when we went out to drink. I got upset and basically said 'take care'. Later, I apologized and told him I didn't mean it but he said very calmly that he seldom gives 2nd chances and needs some time to think this through. Did I royally screw this one up? He is 36 and i am 26. We had a great relationship up until this happened. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.
