A question about immunity?

ok...we all know that common cold virus is easy and the immune system destroys it by itself but....if a person's immune system is weak then...what would the common cold virus do to the person if he gets a cold?? what would be the more severe symptoms that common cold virus can cause because of his weak immunity??
